What is ‘Dancing with the Stars’ about?

Premiere Night Opening Number | Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars is a long-running reality TV series where the biggest names in entertainment are paired with professional dancers to compete for the iconic Mirrorball Trophy. Each competing pair has to perform a predetermined dance to compete for the judges’ points and audience votes. The pair with the lowest combined total of points and votes are eliminated until only the champion pair remains. Over the course of its many seasons, entertainment’s biggest names have graced the competition, from Kim Kardashian and Bindi Irwin to Jerry Springer, David Hasselhoff, and everyone in between.

Dancing with the Stars has been an ABC staple until Season 31, when the show was pulled off the network to stream exclusively on Disney Plus. Unfortunately, as part of that move, all prior seasons have become unavailable to stream online. With Season 32, the show moves back to ABC and will stream live at the same time on Disney Plus. Seasons 1 to 30 still remain unavailable for online streaming.
